The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) is a constituent unit of the NCERT, an autonomous body under
the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. It proposes to fill up the following posts on contractual basis on
consolidated monthly payment as mentioned against each post for a period of one year:

- Diploma in Radio/ Tele-communication/
Electrical/Electronics/Communication
Engineering recognized by the Govt. of
India or Degree with Physics as one of the
subject from a recognized University or
degree in Electrical Engineering from a
recognized University or equivalent degree,
or diploma in Sound Recording and Sound
Engineering awarded by the Film and
Television Institute of Poona.
- Engineering Assistants who pass a
prescribed qualifying test and have
completed 5 years of regular
service in the grade
2. Sound Recordist
Gr.II
Rs.13,500/-
- 01
- Degree in Science, Preferably Physics/
Electronics/ Electrical Engineering from
recognized University/ Institute in Sound
recording.
- 3 years experience as a Sound
Recordist for motion picture,
recording in Studio.
OR
1. Degree/ Diploma in sound
recording and sound engineering
from recognised
University/Institute.
2. 3 years experience of Sound
recording in a motion picture
organization of repute/ Studio.
OR
8 years experience as sound
recordist in motion picture
organization of repute/studio
3. Engineering
Assistant
Rs.13,500/-

- A National Trade Certificate in
‘Electrician/ Radio and TV” issued by the
National Council for Training in Vocational
Trades after a two year study in an
Industrial Training Institute or similar
institution of the Central and/ or State
Government.
- Minimum one year’s working
experience, after obtaining the
National Trade Certificate in
operation and maintenance in a
reputable organization engagement
in the production and/or recording
of video and sound programmes.
