How To apply for XAT
To apply for XAT, log on to the site www.xatonline.net.in, a full set of instructions will appear. By following these instructions you have to register for the XAT exam. You will be given an ID and password that you will need further on in the process. Using that ID and password, you have to login and a registration page opens up where you have to specify name of nearest Axis bank branch from where you want to buy the prospectus, name of candidate, number of courses opted and amount to be paid for prospectus. You can obtain the amount to be paid from the prospectus depending on number of courses.
Then you have to download the pay in slip from the site that has three parts containing information about date of registration, name of candidate, amount to be paid etc. You have to carry this pay in slip to the nearest axis bank branch, where you will pay the required amount as specified on the slip and obtain the prospectus. Student is then required to fill up the form at the end of the prospectus with correct details and same as filled in online form. You also have to attach the XLRI copy of pay-in -slip to the form. Then, you have to send the form to XLRI office, Jamshedpur along with photocopies of 10th, 12th and graduation certificates. You should keep your ID and password for future transactions like downloading the admit card.
